With 30 years in the recruitment business, Abatec wanted to create an anniversary campaign that celebrated their achievements, stood out in the industry, created a buzz and presented Abatec as a fun place to work, whilst raising money for 3 special charities.

Challenge

Completely aware of people’s perceptions of recruitment agencies, Abatec wanted to dispel the myth of life in recruitment and take a light-hearted approach to their anniversary celebrations. With a number of events in the diary throughout 2018, the challenge was to run a year-long campaign that bought everything together and helped raise money for their 3 chosen charities.

 

Solution

We created a campaign that celebrated Abatec and their role in helping people find the job they love. Underpinning the overall campaign with the strapline ‘#3for30’ (3 charities for 30 years), ensured that every event & every piece of marketing always came back to this core message. At the heart of our strategy was video, creating a suite of fun & engaging content to be shared throughout the year. Identifying LinkedIn & Facebook as the core platforms, we created a social strategy that delivered engaging content to the right people at the right time. To support the campaign, we built an anniversary landing page – the destination for all things 30 years.
